SARAH MARLES

Sarah Marles is a freelance nature writer. Her work explores landscape, wildlife and the relationship between people and place, with a particular focus on coasts, birds and the changing seasons.
She holds a BA (Hons) in History from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, and is completing an MA in Nature and Travel Writing at Bath Spa University, where she was awarded the Bath Spa Writing Prize.
She has contributed to Bird Watching, Country Walking, Cumbria Life and Waitrose Food magazines. As well as writing a regular wildlife column for her local community magazine.
Sarah is a charity ambassador for Curlew Action and writes from her home on the Dee Estuary, Wirral where she works part-time at her local secondary school and lives with her two children and rescue dog.
